Robotics
SeaPerch is an underwater robotics program that teaches students engineering, problem-solving, and teamwork through hands-on learning. Participants build and operate remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) that can complete underwater tasks and challenges. The program combines science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts and often culminates in regional or national competitions where teams showcase their designs and skills.
Robotics is the design, building, and programming of robots to perform specific tasks, often using engineering and coding skills. A robotics team works together to create and improve robots that can complete challenges, solve problems, or compete in tournaments. Team members take on different roles—like builders, coders, designers, and strategists—while learning valuable STEM skills, practicing collaboration, and applying real-world problem-solving in fun, competitive environments.
